ASHLEY LEWIS AND LORI LYONS
MS. ASHLEY:
I am looking forward to my thirdd year with Lil Goldman School, but bring a wealth of experience with me. I have been in Early Childhood Education since 2007 - teaching, serving as an Infant & Toddler Education Coordinator, and was an Assistant Director . I received my MA at Pensacola Christian College.
I am married and we have one fur-baby named, "Buck".
I'm looking forward to watching the Tweenies learn and grow. They are a sweet age group and bring excitement to school everyday.
MS. LORI:
By the time I was 11 years old I was already babysitting 3 children. After graduating from Mineral Wells HS I went through EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) school. In 2000 I began my teaching career at St. Christopher Episcopal School, and with my CDA, taught Toddlers for 11 years and Pre-K for 10 years. I was the Nursery Coordinator for the church for 15 years. It's my third school year at Lil Goldman and I love the amazing Tweenies. When I am not teaching, I enjoy being outdoors and going camping and fishing.
I have two daughters and a kitty named "Sandstorm".
Our Tweenies class is the older Toddlers (20-30 months). These Toddlers are learning to be independent in eating and following simple directions. The main goals for this room are language acquisition, social/emotional development, and motor skills development. Being in the Tweenies age group means playing is learning and that learning is fun!
