MS. LEA:
I have been teaching at Lil Goldman for over 10 years in the Toddler class. I started as an assistant for the first two years I was here. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education and Elementary Education in the Philippines. Teaching is my passion in life, and I enjoy being around children. I live in Fort Worth with my husband, Jomar, and our two dogs, Sunshine and Bernie.
MS. RAQUEL:
I've previously began working with preschoolers in 2001, obtaining my CDA and working with Infants-Toddlers and Pre-K children. It's my first year at Lil Goldman, and I really enjoy working with my co-teacher and learning the traditions and sanctity of Judiasm. I love the parents of our students.
I'm a West Texas native who loves to read, work outside, attend church, and spend time with my grown son and daughter and my dog named Miller. In all my travels there is no place I love more than San Antonio.
Our toddlers are children ages eighteen - 24 months and up. A toddler must be walking and no longer needing a morning nap to be eligible for this classroom. Toddlers are learning to be independent in eating and following directions. No more high chairs or cribs for us! The main goals for this room is language acquisition and socialization(learning to a part of a group). Being in the toddler age group means playing is learning and that learning is fun!
