I am so happy to be a part of the Lil Goldman Early Learning Center family. I earned my Masters in Early Childhood Education from Ashford University in my native state of North Carolina. I have a plethora of experience working in the Early Childhood field, as a teacher for about 19 years in many different school settings, as a Mentor/Coach to Early Head Start (EHS) teachers, as an ISD Head Start Site Director, Center Director of a Learning Center and most recently as an Education coordinator for an EHS program in Fort Worth.
I'm eager to share my 20 plus years of experience and an abundant knowledge of curriculum, and developmentally appropriate material and activities, with the center and staff. Working together as a team, the teachers and I will ensure that we meet your child's developmental and learning needs and create a safe environment. Collaborating with our Jewish Studies Coordinator, Sara, and Hebrew teacher, Dafna, we will help the staff implement Jewish traditions and values into their classrooms and lesson plans. I look forward to working closely with the families to provide the best possible learning experience for your children. Together, we will ensure that they are ready for any next step that you choose when they graduate from Lil Goldman Early Learning Center.
I am married and have four grown children and two Labradoodles.
My door is always open; please feel free to come in and visit with me with any comments, questions or concerns.
Our experienced staff of teachers are sensitive to the needs of young children. The staff is required to participate in continuing education programs throughout the year and our goal is to adapt our curriculum to the individual needs of each child. Parent/Teacher communication is of the upmost importance and we use the Brightwheel application to keep in regular contact regarding your child's day. Regular newsletters are sent home and formal parent-teacher conferences take place during the school year. Teachers are always willing to discuss a child’s needs.
If you have questions about the opportunities available to you in our programs, feel free to send us a message. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
